Pamela Abdy serves as Co-Chair and CEO of 酴圖弝け. Motion Picture Group, encompassing 酴圖弝け. Pictures, New Line Cinema, and 酴圖弝け. Pictures Animation. WBMPG continues to build on its legacy of iconic feature franchises and world-class cinema, delivering a diverse slate of films for global audiences.

Abdy serves as Co-Chair and CEO with Michael De Luca, sharing oversight of the Studios global theatrical production, marketing, and distribution operations. In addition to her Motion Picture Group responsibilities, Abdy, along with De Luca, has curatorial oversight of WBDs TCM (Turner Classic Movies) network, in partnership with filmmakers Paul Thomas Anderson, Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese. She joined 酴圖弝け. in 2022.

Prior to joining 酴圖弝け., Abdy served as MGMs Motion Picture Group President, overseeing development, production and post-production for all MGM and Orion films. She oversaw Sarah Polleys Academy Award簧 Best Picture-nominated Women Talking which earned Polley the Academy Award簧 for Best Adapted Screenplay, Ridley Scotts House of Gucci, starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver; Paul Thomas Andersons Academy Award簧 Best Picture-nominated Licorice Pizza, which marked the studios first such nomination since Rain Man won in 1988; Creed III, starring and directed by Michael B. Jordan; Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernans Adams Family 2; and Ron Howards 13 Lives, which was nominated for three SAG Awards.

Before that, she was a Partner and Head of Film at Makeready, managing the independent production companys feature development, production, and post-production. During her time at Makeready, the company financed and produced Queen & Slim from director Melina Matsoukas and writer Lena Waithe, and A Million Little Pieces from director Sam Taylor-Johnson.

From 2013 until 2016, Abdy served as President of Production at New Regency. During her post at the company, New Regency released Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritus Academy Award簧-winning Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Adam McKays Academy Award簧-winning The Big Short, Justin Kurzels Assassins Creed and Gore Verbinskis Cure for Wellness. Abdy also oversaw the release of Inarritus The Revenant in 2016, which received 12 Academy Award簧 nominations, including Best Picture, and won two Golden Globe awards, for Best Motion Picture Drama and Best Actor.

Prior to New Regency, Abdy was the President of Scott Stubers Bluegrass Films, where she procured, developed and produced features including 47 Ronin, Identity Thief, Kill the Messenger and Endless Love. 

Abdy previously served as Executive Vice President at Paramount Pictures, where she oversaw the development and production of numerous films, including Martin Scorseses Shutter Island, The Love Guru starring Mike Myers, Kimberly Peirces Stop-Loss, the Judd Apatow-produced Drillbit Taylor, Oliver Stones World Trade Center, Karyn Kusamas Aeon Flux, Richard LaGraveneses Freedom Writers, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritus Golden Globe-winning Babel and Mark Waters Mean Girls. 

Abdy started her career as an intern at Jersey Films while participating in the Emerson College internship program. She was hired as the receptionist and went on to become Danny DeVitos assistant. From there, she rose through the company and ultimately became President, where she associate-produced Man on the Moon; co-produced Cavemans Valentine; executive produced How High; and produced the film Garden State, which won an Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature Film and a Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media. 

Abdy is a member of the Producers Guild of America, serves as a Governor on the Executive Board of the Executive Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, sits on the American Film Institutes Board of Trustees, and is a part of The Hollywood Reporters Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program.
